Nearly everyone’s life has been touched by disability in one way or another. The Jasmine Charitable Trust is an all Volunteer organization with a commitment to improve the lives of disabled Americans by empowering them to independence through the use of Service Dogs. Everyone is a Volunteer. If you are able to give the gift of time, we welcome you as a Volunteer. If you live far away, we will still find a way to utilize your talents.
Financial Contributions
There are three types of financial contributions that you can make to The Jasmine Charitable Trust. The first, The Jasmine Charitable Trust Operational Fund, is in support of our service dog program. We depend on organizations and individuals to defray the enormous cost of raising and training a Service Dog from puppy to working professional. We can truly say, “We don’t mail a letter until someone donates a stamp!” If you can make a financial donation or know a business, church or organization that can, we will be grateful for your assistance. Every dollar donated goes directly to the support of the program.
The second contribution is to help support The Jasmine Charitable Trust Service Dog Emergency Medical Care Fund. Many disabled individuals, who require the assistance of a service dog, cannot afford the high costs of emergency medical attention for their dogs. This fund has been established to help cover the cost of immediate veterinary care for any service dog in a life threatening emergency.
The third is The Jasmine Charitable Trust Love that Works Fund. Through the Love that Works fund, The Jasmine Charitable Trust works together with clients who need service dogs, but cannot afford one. The funding includes equipment and supplies, five hundred hours of training for the dog and one hundred eighty hours of training for the service team.
